Saturday April 14, 2018 - Tarwheel Century

  • Put on by the River City Cycling Club.
  • You travel through Camden and Currituck Counties, NC.
  • Three routes: 33, 62 and 100 miles.
  • Begins with delicious home baked goods and sweet potato ham biscuits and they feed you very well throughout the day.

Saturday May 12, 2018 - VCU Health Cap to Cap Rides

  • Start and finish at the Charles City County Courthouse.
  • Ride lengths 15, 25, 50, and 100 miles.

Monday May 14, 2018 - Assault on Mount Mitchell and Marion - Spartanburg, SC to either Mount Mitchell State Park, NC or Marion, NC

  • If the 74 mile assault on Marion is not enough you can choose the 103 mile assault on Mount Mitchell instead!

Saturday June 16, 2018 - Le Tour de Shore - Onancock VA

  • Choose from three routes:
    • 100 miles begins at 7:00am
    • 64 miles begins at 8:00am
    • 32 miles begins at 9:00am

Saturday June 16, 2018 - Big Walker Mountain Charity ride in Southwest Virginia

  • Bring your bike and your club to southwest Virginia on Saturday, June 17, for the 14th annual Big Pencil to Big Walker Metric Century Charity Ride aka The Fast and the Fiorini.
  • This is a scenic and challenging ride from downtown Wytheville over nearby Big Walker Mountain, one, two or three times.
  • Great sag, food, and rest stop at the Big Walker Lookout.
  • The ride opens up the annual Chautauqua Festival in the Park in downtown Wytheville.
  • Free cycling jersey (custom designed by Starlight Apparel) with your registration!
  • Proceeds support Helping Overcome Poverty's Existence, Inc. (HOPE) food and housing security programs. It would be greatly appreciated if you could spread the word, or mention this event on your website.

Sunday August 19, 2018 - Lancaster Covered Bridge Classic

  • Covered bridges, Amish farms, scenic roads… A classic ride through PA Dutch country and one of the premier rides on the East Coast!
  • Routes:
    • 100, 62, 31, and 15 miles (15 is with a ride leader)
    • The 100-mile option is a challenging ride that includes a hilly 38-mile loop that starts and ends at the lunch rest stop in Stevens, PA.
    • There are no official rest stops on the 38 mile loop, so please stock up at the lunch stop.
  • Start: HACC's Lancaster Campus,1641 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602.
  • Riders must start before 9 am and end before 3:30 pm.
  • Includes: Lunch, SAG support vehicles, rest stops with food and drink, well-marked routes, and more.
  • Helmets are required.
  • Registration:
    • Online here
    • $40 thru April.
    • March 1 – June 30: $50.
    • July 1 and after: $60.
    • Mail in registration includes $10 processing fee (print form on website).
    • $35 group (10+ riders) discount: email btmitche@yahoo.com for details.

  • Stokesville, VA

  • Hundreds of miles of beautiful road and mixed-surface cycling, as wells as mountain bike trails in George Washington National Forest.

  • Join us for a weekend of choose-your-own-adventure-style riding, demo bicycles, live music, free beer and camaraderie.
