PBA Ride Leader and Bicycling Safety Training

Registration

  • The Peninsula Bicycling Association will be conducting our first Ride Leader training for the year. All riders that are new to the PBA, planning on leading rides, or would just like brush up on group riding and rules of the road are highly encouraged to attend. There is no cost. There will be a classroom portion followed by a slow paced group ride around For Monroe. After the slow group ride, if there is interest, we can take a ride out to Buckroe Beach and stop in at the Oozlefinch Brewery when we get back. This training will include complete coverage of Virginia Bicycling Law and pending legislation. It will be co-taught by Mary Mitchell and Tregg Hartley. It will also be opened to residents of the City of Hampton.
